Former Jones Cup Champion, Patrick Reed wins 2018 Masters

From junior golf, to amateur golf, to six professional wins and a major victory, Patrick Reed’s golf career is just getting started. Patrick joins a number of past Jones Cup participants to have won a major, including Jordan Spieth, Webb Simpson, Dustin Johnson, Bubba Watson, and Justin Thomas, with only he and Justin Thomas to have won both the Jones Cup and a major.

In the 2010 Jones Cup Invitational, Patrick Reed won in a sudden-death playoff after a final round score of 2-over 74 and a 54-hole finish at 6-over-par 222.

Both Reed and Victor Dubuisson were tied one stroke out of the lead heading into the final round, and were tied for the lead after Sunday’s final round. Only one playoff hole was needed for Reed to claim his victory, making par verses Dubuisson’s bogey. Patrick Reed also participated in the Jones Cup in 2011 and finished T-6.

Congratulations to Patrick Reed for his victory at the 2018 Masters!
