Registration for the 2026 Jones Cup Invitational Qualifier is open and will close at 5 p.m. (EST) on Saturday, November 15th. Due to overwhelming demand for the 2026 Jones Cup Invitational Qualifier, discretion will be made by the Jones Cup Committee for entry into the Qualifier field. Three qualifying spots will be awarded into the 78-player field. Born of the A.W. Jones family’s deep commitment to amateur golf, the Jones Cup began in 2001 as an opportunity to celebrate not only the game of golf, but also the camaraderie associated with it. This three-day, 54-hole individual stroke-play event at Ocean Forest brings together many of the finest amateurs from the U.S. and abroad.
Because of the global success of the Jones Cup Invitational and its recognition as a premier world amateur golf event, the Jones Cup Junior Invitational and Jones Cup Senior Invitational were created in 2009 and 2011 respectively, and are contested at Sea Island Golf Club each year.
Accommodations
The Lodge
Located between Seaside and Plantation courses at the Sea Island Golf Club, The Lodge overlooks St. Simons Sound and the Atlantic Ocean, with 43 rooms in the main building and seven cottages. Full access to Sea Island amenities, including golf, is included.
The Cloister
Located on Sea Island, the Mediterranean masterpiece offers 265 rooms and suites with river, ocean, and garden views. Full access to Sea Island amenities, including golf, is included.
The Inn by Sea Island
Located on St. Simons Island, The Inn is a select-service property. Access to the Sea Island Golf Club is included during the Qualifier and Tournament dates.
Sea Island Cottages
With up to eight bedrooms, Sea Island Cottages offer the privacy of a private home as well as full kitchens; many have pools, as well as marsh or oceanfront views. Full access to Sea Island amenities, including golf, is included.
The Lodge Cottages
The Lodge Cottages offer the luxury of a private home within the Sea Island Golf Club. Full access to Sea Island amenities, including golf, is included.
A two-night deposit is required for reservations, with seven-day cancellation.
The resort fee for The Lodge and The Cloister will be $38 per night. All rates are based on availability.
